Vertical Storage
WHC has partnered with Hänel to provide vertical lift modules and Vertical Carousels in Georgia and Alabama.
The Hänel Lean Lift Vertical Lift Module is really an automated “High-Bay Warehouse in a Cabinet”.
The Lean-Lift from Hänel combines storage efficiency and material security in one integrated unit. At the center of the cabinet is a computerized lift called the “extractor”. In front and behind the extractor are the storage shelves or containers. These are used to store the various articles or materials. Materials can be stored directly on the shelves or they can be configured with dividers, totes, etc. The storage locations are accessed through the micro-processor controller. At the touch of a button the extractor stores of retrieves the container requested. Containers are delivered to the operator comfortably at the optimum ergonomic height.
The Hänel Rotomat Vertical Carousel is simply brilliant. Each Hänel Rotomat vertical carousel is designed according to the tried and true Ferris wheel principle. The files are brought to the operator not vice versa. The compact design allows up to 60% more storage capacity to be accommodated on a minimal floor space by making use of the available room height. Carriers are attached to a rotating mechanism and are driven by Hänel’s internal dual motor drive system. Media is selected via Hänel’s MPOA Micro-Processor Controller and presented to the operator at a posting board positioned at a perfect ergonomic height.
